Lorie and Yuval were looking for a venue that offered ample indoor and outdoor space for their wedding ceremony and reception. They had planned to tie the knot in the winter, which in South Florida, means a comfortable 75 degrees during the day, and a slightly cooler evening temperature, perfect conditions for guests to enjoy being outside in LAVAN’s tropical, landscaped courtyard.

Ines Naftali Floral and Events were hired to create an ambiance with the floral design and decor. They created exquisite floral arrangements that were wild-flower inspired, with a vintage, organic, handpicked style. The color scheme throughout was shades of purple, dark pink, magenta, blush and lime green with plenty of loosely arranged ferns and greenery. The bride’selegant country-stylebouquet complemented her romantic dress, and the flower girls were adorable with their own little bouquets and flower crowns.

The Chuppah was decorated with abundant greenery and large, hanging, and cascading bouquets of dark pink, purple and deep magenta blooms. The chairs along the aisle were laced with greenery and the live oak behind the Chuppah was wrapped with twinkling holiday lights. The overall effect was that of a fairytale garden as the couple said “I do” while the sun set!

LAVAN’s indoor and outdoor spaces transition seamlessly one to the other, with the entire back wall of the ballroom opening to the garden. The party moved inside for dinner catered by LAVAN’s in-house catering team, followed by an evening of dancing and celebrating. LAVAN’s state of the art lighting stayed true to the color theme, matching the pinks and purples of the beautiful floral centerpieces on the tables.
